Last Wednesday (1st November), KiC Club restarted with a GIANT BOARD GAME themed evening! To the children’s delight, the church hall was transformed into a game board and the children were split into teams and (with the help of coloured cones as hats!) became the playing pieces!

By rolling an even number, the team could choose between a ‘Challenge card’ and a ‘Chance Card’. Challenge cards required the team to participate in difficult tasks in order to earn points…but beware, failing a challenge meant losing points and moving back spaces! Chance cards opened children’s eyes to an imaginative world of friendly wizards, magic potions and helpful dragons! In addition, shortcuts, the dreaded ‘X’ squares and magical ‘lifelines’ certainly made this game a one-of-a-kind! Despite an exciting, sometimes tense but amazingly close finish, the Green team finished victorious! Well done Green team!

At the end of the evening, we heard the first part of our new series: Catechism questions for children. These involve learning a series of simple questions and answers which teach us Biblical facts about who God is and what He has done for us. The children have learnt the first 3 answers so far.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back next week for an evening of games…
